Alcohol should be banned on all San Diego beaches, City Councilman Byron Wear said yesterday.
Speaking at a news conference at the Mission Beach boardwalk, Wear said a 24-hour booze ban would make it easier for police to control rowdy and illegal behavior and create a safer environment for families.
