SAN DIEGO — San Diego Councilman Kevin Faulconer’s Beach Alcohol Task Force will meet Monday evening for the last time to debate whether drinking should be banned on Ocean Beach between the pier and lifeguard tower.

Battery on a peace officer was reported on the 1100 Block of Garnet Avenue Sunday, June 17, at 1:45 a.m. The suspect reportedly used his right fist to hit the victim.
